Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights)

We are occasionally lucky here on Anglesey due to the lack of light pollution we can sometimes see the Northern Lights

Often easier to see with an iPhone, but when we are really lucky we have seen them with the naked eye.

Menai Bridge

Menai Suspension Bridge, the original crossing built by Thomas Telford in 1826. Also Menai Bridge Town where the soap opera 'Rownd a Rownd' is filmed

Just 10 - 15 mins away is Newborough Forest, full of interesting walks and many surprises.

On the edges of Newborough Forest is Newborough Warren where you might get lucky and see the wild horses.

Next to Newborough Forest and Warren you will find Treath Llanddwyn and Ynys LLanddwyn, a fantastic walk steeped in history.

The name Llanddwyn means "The church of St. Dwynwen". Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of lovers, making her the Welsh equivalent of St. Valentine
